My name is Juliane Gierach and I was born in 1985 in Leipzig, Germany. I finished my Bachelor in Interpretation (English and French) in 2009. From 2009 until 2011 I was undergoing a Master Programme in International Relations at the Andrassy University Budapest. Moreover, I gathered working experience at Ifri, the German Commission for UNESCO and the German Embassy in Budapest.

My name is Katalin Györy, I was born 1985 in Munich, Germany into an Hungarian family. I studied Acting, then Philosophy in Germany, and am now finishing a Master of
International Relations at the Andrássy University in Budapest.
I would love to stay in Budapest, so I really want to work on the social, cultural and political development of this “middle-eastern” part of Europe.
I am working as journalist at a German weekly paper in Budapest.

At the moment I am volunteering in a law office in Belgrade.

My name is Mirjana Ivancic, I was born 1986 in Novo Mesto, Slovenia but I spent my whole life in Croatia, mostly in Zagreb, where I studied German and Czech language and literature. After obtaining my BA, I decided to continue with master’s degree in translatology. I spent one year studying in Germany and 5 months in a German Parliament as an intern. Currently I am doing my (second) Master’s Degree in International Relations at Andrassy University Budapest. My areas of interests are Human Rights, minority issues and South Eastern Europe.

Currently, I am master student at Faculty of Letters, Journalism and Communications Department, University Alexandru Ioan Cuza from Iasi, Romania. For three years, I have been working at the newspaper Opinia Veche, Iasi, as a chief department and I focus my stories on social topics, minorities and higher education.
Last summer I participated in the program European Scholarships. Journalists in dialogue organized by Freedom House Romania and The representation of European Commission in Romania and was selected, from 60 journalists, to participate in a visit study to the European institutions from Brussels.
